At the Reno Convention auction on October 9, 2009, we acquired the fine ster mare Meinou fan ‘e Homar and her stud colt by Sibald 380. She is 17 hands tall, very large, but beautifully proportioned. She is also in foal to Mintse 384. We are quite proud of this addition to the ranch and look forward to seeing her colt develop as well as the foal coming next year. She is a great addition to our stable and we are quite proud of her.

Black Stallion Ranch was created in 2006 to develop a boutique Friesian horse ranch where quality would be emphasized, and the size would be limited so that each individual horse could get the loving care and attention that we give all the animals under our care.
